Composer Danny Elfman signed these copies exclusively for Alliance Authentic, and the moment he did, they went straight into preservation.
That matters because Elfman is the architect of modern gothic cinema sound and beyond. The themes from Batman, Edward Scissorhands, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetlejuice, and Spider-Man are permanently woven into how audiences feel about those films. When Netflix needed someone to score Wednesday, there was only one answer. Elfman delivered a cello-driven, darkly orchestral score that became as iconic as the show itself, the kind of music that makes a cultural moment feel permanent.
This purple smoke double LP is that score, signed by the man who wrote it, sealed inside exactly as he left it. Tap the NFC chip and watch the video of Elfman signing the specific copy you are holding. The signature has not been touched since.
There is no version of this record more complete than this one.
