The first-ever vinyl release of the Castle in the Sky soundtrack, composed by Joe Hisaishi and edited with Vivaldi. This pressing includes the Castle in the Sky USA Version, a soundtrack previously exclusive to the Ghibli Museum and unavailable anywhere else. Remastered for analog with new jackets, gorgeous specifications, and extensive liner notes, this is a landmark release for Studio Ghibli fans and vinyl collectors alike: one of the most beloved animated films in history, finally available in the format it deserves.
For collectors, the significance here is scarcity — an exclusive, never-before-pressed-on-vinyl release with a Ghibli Museum-only version makes an encapsulated copy a permanent record of a genuinely unrepeatable moment in the history of this soundtrack.
