Talking Heads' Remain in Light (Sire Records, 1980) is the band's fourth studio album and their third and final collaboration with producer Brian Eno, recorded at Compass Point Studios in the Bahamas and Sigma Sound Studios in New York. A landmark of rhythmic and sonic experimentation, the album fuses rock, funk, punk, and Afrobeat into a cohesive whole that remains unlike anything before or since. It reached No. 19 on the Billboard 200, produced the singles "Once in a Lifetime" and "Houses in Motion," and is widely regarded as the band's magnum opus. In 2017, the Library of Congress selected it for the National Recording Registry as culturally, historically, and aesthetically significant. This pressing is the original 1980 Eno-produced release on 180-gram HQ vinyl.
