The Noir Original Soundtrack is now on vinyl for the very first time, remastered and pressed as a double LP collector's edition.
Released in 2001, Noir is an anime series directed by Kôichi Mashimo and produced by Bee Train and Victor Entertainment, following assassins Kirika and Mireille through a world of shadow and conspiracy. The series became a global classic of Japanese animation and a landmark of the genre.
Composer Yuki Kajiura used Noir to define the signature sound she would carry throughout her career: sacred choral textures layered against electronic atmosphere, tension offset by melody. The result was a score widely considered one of anime's finest, anchored by two iconic tracks performed by Yuriko Kaida: "Canta per me" and "Salva nos."
