A preserved collector's pressing of Sinners (Original Motion Picture Score) by Academy Award® winner Ludwig Göransson, the defining film score of 2025, now available on double vinyl LP in the Mutant x Sony Classical edition. Göransson, whose credits include Oppenheimer, Black Panther, Creed, and The Mandalorian, delivers what is already being discussed as one of the most ambitious and emotionally complex scores in recent cinema history. Written and directed by Ryan Coogler and starring Michael B. Jordan, Hailee Steinfeld, Delroy Lindo, Wunmi Mosaku, Jayme Lawson, and Omar Benson Miller, Sinners became the runaway cinematic sensation of spring 2025, and Göransson's score is inseparable from why.
The Sinners score is a genre-defying achievement that weaves blues, gospel, soul, country, and horror film composition into a singular, cohesive sound world, marking the first collaboration between Göransson and Coogler outside of established IP since Fruitvale Station. Freed from the constraints of franchise storytelling, the two have produced something genuinely original: a score that functions as both cinematic architecture and standalone listening experience. This double LP pressing, released through Mutant in partnership with Sony Classical, is the definitive physical format for the work. A companion album featuring original songs by Miles Colton, Rod Wave, James Blake, Don Toliver, Brittany Howard, Raphael Saadiq, Rhiannon Giddens, Buddy Guy, and others is being released separately through Sony Masterworks.
