Metallica's ReLoad arrives as a remastered double-LP reissue of the band's 1997 seventh studio album, originally released through Elektra Records. Produced by Bob Rock and remastered by Reuben Cohen at Lurssen Mastering, the 4x-platinum record was recorded during the same sessions as its predecessor, the 5x-platinum Load. The set spans fan favorites including "Fuel," "The Memory Remains" (featuring guest vocalist Marianne Faithfull, a first for Metallica), and "The Unforgiven II." It also stands as the final studio album to feature bassist Jason Newsted. Pressed on 180-gram vinyl, the double-LP arrives in a gatefold jacket with two printed inserts.
For collectors, an encapsulated pressing captures this reissue exactly as it left the source: sealed, unplayed, and in the same state it was the day it was pressed. No opens, no spins, no unknowns.
