Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City is the 2021 action horror reboot of the long-running film series, written and directed by Johannes Roberts. Drawing directly from Capcom's first two games, the film follows a group of survivors navigating a zombie outbreak in Raccoon City, 1998. The cast includes Kaya Scodelario, Hannah John-Kamen, Robbie Amell, Tom Hopper, Avan Jogia, Donal Logue, and Neal McDonough. The score is composed by Mark Korven, whose credits include The Witch (2015) and The Lighthouse (2019).
