SZA's landmark debut, Ctrl, pressed on limited double colored vinyl in a gatefold jacket. Originally released in 2017, the album was years in the making: SZA wrote over 200 songs using a freestyle, analog-driven approach, capturing raw, in-the-moment sessions that defined the record's intimacy and depth. Ctrl debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 and launched the singles "Drew Barrymore," "Love Galore," and "The Weekend," earning RIAA Gold certification by October 2017. It remains one of R&B's most celebrated debuts of the decade.
This is a limited colored vinyl pressing in gatefold packaging. Colored vinyl runs are produced in far smaller quantities than standard black pressings, making them inherently scarcer. An Alliance Authentic encapsulated copy keeps this pressing exactly as it left the source, sealed against time, handling, and environment so its visual and sonic integrity remains intact for as long as you own it.
What Alliance Authentic Preservation Means: Every copy listed was moved directly from the pressing source into preservation: uncirculated, unhandled, and documented before it ever reached the open market. Each preserved copy includes an embedded NFC chip. Tap it with any smartphone to access your Certified Copy: verified authenticity, documented condition, and a full provenance chain from pressing source to you.
Limited to 10 individually numbered copies.
